This is a seven-year-old Octomore, a Bruichladdich single malt from Islay, bottled for Jim McEwan's Signature Collection.
It matured for seven years in first fill bourbon barrels and is bottled at 62.3% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The whisky is described as peaty and smoky, clearly structured and powerful, with a dominant influence from the cask.
