Octomore Edition 09.3 5 Year Old (62.9%)

Octomore Edition 09.3 is a five-year-old Islay single malt, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2018 at a cask strength of 62.9%. The barley comes from Irene's Farm on Islay, and the spirit is heavily peated, with a phenol level of 133 PPM. The outturn is 18,000 bottles, drawn from a mix of cask types. It is usually described as peat smoke with malt, citrus, oak, sea salt, cereal and dark spice.
