The spring 2026 release of Kentucky Nectar from Old Commonwealth Distillery, a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon finished in a honey cask. It is a single barrel release in a 75cl bottle, one of 209 bottles.
The bourbon is double-oaked and bottled at cask strength, balancing robust oak with delicate honeyed sweetness.
The nose is cinnamon honey graham cracker, charred oak, orange zest and cherry. The palate has orange blossom honey, cinnamon strudel, charred oak, leather and dark chocolate shavings. The finish is drying with a trace of sweetness, fading into dark chocolate.
