This is an 8 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill Distillery, released in autumn 2023 as part of the Old Fitzgerald decanter series. It is a bottled-in-bond whiskey, made from barrels produced in the fall of 2015.
It comes in an ornate decanter with a black label.
The nose offers caramel and vanilla with oak and spice. The palate brings sweet toffee, toasted oak and a touch of cinnamon, and the finish is long and smooth with a warm, lingering spice.
