Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2026 is the 26th release in the distillery's annual series honouring founder George Garvin Brown. It was barreled in 2015 and assembled from 212 barrels matured together for 11 years on the third floor of Warehouse B, Brown-Forman's oldest ageing warehouse in Shively, Kentucky. The whiskey entered its new charred oak barrels at 124.4 proof and was bottled at 97 proof.
The finished bourbon presents a balanced profile of honey, caramel, cherry, baking spice and toasted oak. It is best served neat, with a few drops of water or a single large ice cube. Its age statement, limited annual production and connection to Old Forester history also make it a desirable bottle for collectors and special occasions.
