Old Malt Cask Dailuaine 12 Year Old is a single cask bottling from Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask series. It was distilled at Dailuaine in Speyside and aged for 12 years in oak.
The colour is bright golden amber, with a smooth, medium-to-full body. The nose has sweet malt, green apple, floral honey, vanilla and gentle oak spice. On the palate it is rich and creamy, with sweet barley, poached pear, citrus peel, vanilla fudge and warm wood spice. The finish is medium to long, warm and clean, with lingering malt sweetness, a little pepper and dry oak.
