Old Overholt – 10 Year Old Cask Strength Straight Rye Whiskey (75cl, 60.5%)

Old Overholt 10 Year Old Cask Strength is a straight rye whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled unfiltered at 60.5% ABV (121 proof). It was aged in a single escalator-style warehouse. It is the brand's first publicly available cask strength expression since the mid-20th century. Overholt is described as the oldest continually produced and maintained whiskey in America. The colour is deep amber with golden and henna hues. The aroma brings mellowed oak, sweet corn and vanilla with black pepper and cinnamon-toast spice. The finish is long, with rye spice and vanilla lingering over brown sugar, honey, leather and charred oak.
