This is an 11 year old straight rye from Old Overholt, the second annual release in its series, bottled at cask strength.
The rye was laid down in 2012 for extended ageing. Eleven years later the best of it was selected from four warehouses, M, J, F and 5, then blended and bottled without filtration.
It is described as a Kentucky style rye, with spice, depth and the recognisable Overholt character.
