Old Particular Auchroisk 12 Years Old is a Speyside single malt bottled by Douglas Laing & Co. at 48.4% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It has been given an extra period of maturation in Tawny Port casks.
It belongs to the Old Particular series and is a limited edition, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose is ripe red berries, plums and raisins, with honey, vanilla and a hint of toasted oak. The palate is full and layered, with red fruit, caramel, soft spices, malty sweetness and light chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit and light spice.
