Old Perth Amontillado Cask Strength Limited Edition 2025 (70cl, 52.8%)

Old Perth Amontillado is a 2025 cask strength blended malt from Morrison Distillers, bottled at 52.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Selected Speyside single malts with a spicy, nutty character were married with the Old Perth Solera Blended Malt. The blend then spent three years in nine first-fill Amontillado sherry butts and six first-fill Amontillado hogsheads, before a final marrying in Amontillado casks at Warehouse No. 2 in Aberargie. It is non-chill-filtered and without added colour. Roasted hazelnuts, almonds, dried apricots, amaretti and a light woodiness mark the nose. The palate is dry and complex, slightly salty, with balanced cask spice. The finish is long, nutty and spicy, with almond.
