Old Perth Cask Strength is a blended malt bottled undiluted at 58.6%. The malts in it were matured mainly in sherry casks.
The nose brings candied fruit, toasted hazelnuts and caramel. On the palate there is dark chocolate, raisins and a hint of roasted coffee. The finish is long and full-bodied, with spicy and woody notes that last. A few drops of water will open up its aromas.
