Old Perth The Original Sherry Cask (46%)

Old Perth The Original is a blended malt Scotch whisky, made under the revived Old Perth name by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. It is composed entirely of single malts from the Highlands and Speyside, matured in first-fill and refill Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 46%, without chill filtration and without added colour. The nose is raisins, caramel and vanilla, with walnut, cinnamon, dried fruit and a touch of orange peel. On the palate there is toffee, figs, honey and milk chocolate, with light spice from the sherry casks. The finish is warming, with oak, clove and raisins that linger.
