Old Pulteney 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is matured entirely in bourbon casks, which are hand-selected and left to dry naturally before use.
The maritime character associated with Old Pulteney comes through alongside the sweetness of the bourbon wood. The nose is clean, with a noticeable coastal saltiness. On the palate, sweet and floral notes meet lemon, lime and dried banana peel, and the texture is smooth. The finish carries a light saltiness.
