Old Pulteney 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Pulteney Distillery in Pulteneytown, Wick, in the Highlands. It was matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon casks, shows maritime influences, and is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The colour is deep amber with red-gold hues. The nose offers fresh lemon and pineapple, green apple and elderflower, with vanilla and briny sea air. The palate is creamy, with honey, brine, toffee and vanilla, and the finish is medium in length, balancing salt and sweetness.
