Old Pulteney 15 Year Old

Old Pulteney 15 Year Old is a Northern Highland single malt from Pulteney Distillery in Wick, Caithness, the most northerly mainland distillery in Scotland. It has spent 15 years maturing in American oak that previously held bourbon. The distillery is known as the Maritime Malt. Its coastal position and unusual stills, with a flat-topped wash still rather than a conventional neck, are linked to a spirit with sea air, brine and coastal sweetness. The long maturation brings vanilla and honey that sit alongside that maritime character.
