Old Pulteney 15 Year Old is a single malt that replaces the previous 17 year old in the range.
It was aged in bourbon and second-fill American oak casks, then spent a further period in first-fill Spanish oak oloroso butts.
Sherry comes through straight away on the nose, with fresh-baked fruitcake, honey and allspice. The palate is sweet and spicy, with Jaffa orange segments dipped in sea salt, toffee and dark chocolate. The finish is of medium length, with orange and oak.
