It is a rich amber whisky that sets spice and sweetness beside lighter, fresher coastal notes, reflecting the distillery's seaside home.
The nose brings dried fruit, ripe apples, citrus, honey and creamy vanilla, with a little chocolate and flower in the background. On the palate come fragrant spices, Christmas cake, chocolate and dark toffee, with a hint of sea air. The finish is chocolate with red chilli and a touch of spiced rum warmth.
