This is a 25 year old Old Pulteney single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in ex-Bourbon casks and Spanish oak.
It is described as a maritime malt. Dark cherry and tropical fruit come first, then a sweet, salty note of crisped-rice squares with sea salt, and finally air-cured meats and leathery spice.
The finish is sweet and gently salty, with a touch of peppercorn.
