An aged rum made by the Solera method, blending carefully selected distillates aged up to 1985 in barrels that previously held different wines. It is presented in a jute sack that protects it from light. In the glass it is deep amber. The nose offers dark chocolate, vanilla, ripe fruit and a light tobacco note. The palate is full-bodied, balancing sweetness and spice, with a persistent finish. It can be enjoyed neat or with a cube of ice.
