This is a 15 year old Orkney single malt from Signatory Vintage, bottled as Edition #83 of its 100 Proof series. It is presented in a 70cl bottle at 57.1% ABV.
The whisky was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026, and it was finished in first fill PX sherry butts. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered.
The nose is intensely sweet, with heather honey, ripe raisins and orange peel, plus floral notes, vanilla and a little light smoke. The palate is full and sweet, with honey, dark caramel, raisins and dates, ending in spicy oak and gentle smoke. The finish is long and spicy, with oak, cocoa and a sherried fruit echo.
