A red wine from Tenuta L'Impostino, from the Maremma Toscana DOC. It is medium-intensity ruby with inviting brightness. The nose opens with ripe red fruits and dark berries, alongside light spicy notes and a Mediterranean accent of aromatic herbs and slightly earthy sensations. On the palate it has medium-full body, a good balance of freshness and structure, and present but mature tannins. It pairs with red meats, flavourful pasta dishes, medium to long-aged cheeses and Tuscan cooking. Serve around 16-18 C; a few minutes in a carafe may help the aromas open.
