A Barolo with an elegant profile, ruby in colour with light garnet reflections. The bouquet is complex but composed, with ripe red fruit, faded rose petals, light earthy notes, sweet spices, tobacco and leather. On the palate it has solid structure, well-defined tannins and vibrant acidity, with a long, savoury finish and a spicy echo. It suits braised meats, beef, important risottos and aged cheeses, served around 16-18 °C after brief decanting.
