Parker's Heritage Collection 20th Edition is a 14 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, released in honour of Master Distiller Emeritus Parker Beam. It is bottled at barrel strength, 118 proof (59%), and is non-chill-filtered.
The mash bill is Heaven Hill's usual 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley, with backset from rye whiskey production added during fermentation for extra spice and depth. The whiskey was distilled from late 2011 to early 2012 and matured across several Heaven Hill rickhouses.
The nose offers vanilla wafer, dried fruit and walnut, the palate toffee, roasted peanut, clove and nutmeg, and the finish is long, with dry oak, raisin and rye spice.
