Parker's Heritage Collection Double Barreled Blend is the 16th Edition of the series from Heaven Hill Distillery, released in 2022. It is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 66.1% ABV and non-chill filtered.
The blend brings together bourbons aged 13 and 15 years, which then had a further period of maturation in new, heavily charred American oak barrels.
The nose has toasted oak, dark caramel, vanilla bean and brown sugar. The palate runs to dark chocolate, butterscotch and toasted marshmallow, with cinnamon, nutmeg and roasted nuts. The finish is long and warming.
