This is a Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne from Patrick Regnault, in a 1.5 litre magnum. The house is in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs and makes Champagne at grand cru level from its 5.5 hectares of vines, so it is a very small producer.
It is made from Chardonnay, and care is taken over both the winemaking and the grapes. The wine is aromatic and fruity, with a fine lightness and elegant bubbles.
The finish is pleasantly fresh. It is bottled at 12% abv.
