This is a vintage 2015 Grand Cru Champagne from Patrick Regnault, a micro-producer working a 5.5 hectare holding in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Grand Cru is the highest classification in Champagne.
The house pays close attention to both its production methods and its Chardonnay grapes.
The champagne is aromatic and fruity, with a fine lightness and elegant bubbles, and a pleasantly fresh finish. It suits food well. It is bottled at 12% vol. in a 75cl bottle.
