A peated blended Scotch whisky from Best Dram, created by Kirsteen Campbell from Speyside and Highland whiskies. It was distilled on 15 January 2007, matured for 16 years in three refill bourbon hogsheads and bottled on 23 November 2023 at 42.5% ABV. The release is 760 bottles of 70cl, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
It opened the Best Dram range introduced in January 2024, with a new bottle shape and illustrated labels.
Light peat runs through the nose with vanilla and caramelised pear, then ripe banana, crumble and toasted almonds. The palate opens with soft peat, followed by vanilla and cake notes. The finish is syrupy and sweet as the peat fades.
