Pinotage Neethlingshof Estate is a South African red wine made from Pinotage, the cross of Pinot Noir and Cinsault. It shows intense berry aromas, including blackberry and raspberry, with dark chocolate and a light spice note. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing in French oak barriques. On the palate it is soft and rounded, with medium body and lively acidity, and a persistent finish. It suits red meat, stews and aged cheese, and can take moderate ageing.
