This is a 15 year old Auchroisk single malt from Speyside, bottled by The Whisky Cellar in its Pintail series. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024 at 54.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky has a wine cask finish, and the edition is 230 bottles from cask 1101. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is fruity, with red berries, a hint of vanilla and light oak. The palate is full and complex, with ripe fruit, wine notes and a pleasant spice. The finish is long and warming, with lasting fruity and woody tones.
