The nose offers ripe red berries, toasted oak and gentle spice, with a subtle maritime freshness. On the palate come dark fruit, vanilla and soft tannins from the wine cask, balanced by malt sweetness and a touch of pepper. The finish is lingering, with dried fruit, oak and gentle smoke.
