Pōkeno Discovery is a New Zealand single malt from Pōkeno Whisky, built from parcels of whisky matured in first fill bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks.
The parcels are blended, then returned to cask so that the different influences can marry together before bottling.
It is described as rich and complex, with dark chocolate, black forest gateau, ripe cherries and sweet citrus, leading to a smooth, very long finish.
