Pōkeno – The Lord of the Rings 25th Anniversary Ringbearer 'Gollum' Engraving Edition Single Malt Whisky (70cl)

This is the Pōkeno Lord of the Rings Ringbearer edition, a single malt made at the Pōkeno distillery in New Zealand from New Zealand barley and matured in oak casks. It marks the 25th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings. The bottle carries a laser-etched image of Gollum, finished with a silver-colour fill. The whisky is a dark amber colour. The nose offers mānuka honey, vanilla and white chocolate, then sliced melon and white peach. The palate is spicy, with banana and melon giving way to rich honey on buttered toast. The finish is long and rich, with mānuka honey and warmth.
