Port Askaig 17 Year Old 2023 Limited Edition (50.5%)

Port Askaig 17 Year Old is a 2023 Limited Edition Islay single malt, bottled by Elixir Distillers at 50.5% ABV. It was matured in American oak casks and comes from an annual release of around 9,000 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose brings together sea air, olive, ash, lemon peel, grass and eucalyptus. On the palate come herbs, smoke, salted caramel, mussels, nuts and fruit. The finish is long, salty and herbal, with smoke running through it.
