Port Askaig 17 Year Old Limited Edition 2023 (50.5%)

This is the 2023 limited edition of Port Askaig 17 Year Old, an Islay single malt bottled by Elixir Distillers at 50.5% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The whisky is a peated Islay malt, with smoke that stays elegant and never becomes overpowering. The nose combines wildflowers, soft peat smoke and coastal air. On the palate there is toasted oak, citrus zest and warm spices alongside the smoke. The finish is long and smoky, with the typical Islay character.
