Port Askaig 8 Year Old is an Islay single malt, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. It is a young whisky built around smoke, sea and fresh herbs. The nose brings salty sea air, soft peat smoke, light citrus and fresh herbs. On the palate it is spicy, with green herbs, a touch of iodine and delicate smoke, balanced by a subtle sweetness. The finish is medium to long, smoky, slightly salty and fresh.
