Port Askaig Cask Strength is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky at 59% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Each batch is made from no more than 60 carefully chosen casks, and every batch carries its own code so the cask breakdown can be compared between releases.
The nose is zesty citrus and black pepper, moving to toasted bread, marmalade and smoke. On the palate it is fresh, with salt, lime and spice. The finish lingers with spice, smoke and a toffee-like richness.
