Port Charlotte – 10 Year Old (50%)

Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is a heavily peated single malt from Islay, bottled at 50% ABV. It is made from Scottish barley grown in Inverness-shire, malted to 40 PPM, and distilled, matured and bottled on the island. The whisky matures in a mix of first-fill American casks, second-fill American casks and second-fill French wine casks. It is described as showing peat smoke and sea salt alongside caramel, vanilla and citrus fruit, with oak and an earthy spice.
