This is a single malt from Port Charlotte, distilled at the Bruichladdich distillery, in a 70cl bottle. The barley was grown on Islay itself.
It was bottled at 50% ABV after 8 years of maturation.
The nose combines floral lily and geranium, orange zest and earthy peat smoke, followed by pastry, malt, fruit and pepper. On the palate peat smoke, oak and sea salt come first, with softer coconut, brown sugar and vanilla later. The finish balances smoke, fruit, oak and flowers.
