Refill cask
A 16 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the closed Port Dundas distillery, bottled by Douglas McGibbon in its Clan Denny series at 54.4%. It was matured in a single refill cask and yielded 143 bottles. It is bottled with natural colour and without chill-filtration. The label tells of a vampire said to have wandered Glasgow in the 1950s, a tale that appears to be an urban legend drawn from an American comic. The nose brings a little banana and brioche buns with a touch of spice. The palate has brown sugar, honey and marzipan, then melon and a hint of banana and bread. Pleasant spices close the finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
