Port Dundas 1996 is a 25 year old Scottish single grain whisky, bottled by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage for its Cask Strength Collection at 57.3% ABV.
It was distilled in September 1996 and matured in two hogsheads. These were bottled in 2022, giving 500 bottles.
The nose is soft summer fruits and fresh vanilla pod, with crushed almonds and buttered scones. On the palate there is floral honey, wood varnish and fluffy pancakes with maple syrup. The finish brings a little ginger, softened by vanilla, coconut flakes and fresh berries.
