Port Dundas – 20 Years Old Finn Thomson Private Cask Collection #353253-1

This is a 20 year old single grain Scotch whisky from Port Dundas, a Glasgow distillery that has closed. It was distilled on 14th September 2006 and bottled on 14th September 2026 by Finn Thomson Whisky at natural cask strength, as part of its Private Cask Collection. After 19 years of maturation, the whisky spent a further year in a very active Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. It is the first time Finn Thomson Whisky has released a whole cask from a lost distillery, and the outturn is 276 bottles. It is described as showing tropical fruit, rich sweetness and the character of Demerara sugar, and as drinking in places more like a well-matured rum than a traditional grain whisky.
