Port Dundas is a 22 year old single grain whisky from the closed Lowland distillery of that name. It was distilled on 20 March 2003 and matured in an American bourbon barrel before Claxton's bottled it on 6 February 2026 for its Exploration Series. Bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, it is natural in colour and not chill-filtered. The nose brings sweet vanilla and caramel with cream toffee, baked apple, orange peel and gentle oak. The palate is creamy and sweet, with dried fruit, citrus and a pinch of black pepper. The finish is long, with soft oak, caramel and sweet cereal notes.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
