A 29 year old single grain whisky from Port Dundas, distilled on 27 June 1995 and bottled by Signatory Vintage on 16 December 2024 for its Cask Strength Collection. It matured in a bourbon hogshead and was bottled at 54.4% ABV. The outturn was 223 bottles, each of 70cl.
Gold in colour, it has a nose of vanilla, caramel, raisins, dried apricot, toasted coconut, mint and spicy oak. The palate is soft and creamy, with butterscotch, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut, toasted oak, candied citrus and leather.
The finish is long and elegant, with vanilla, spicy oak and a touch of pepper.
