A 20 year old Port Ellen distilled in 1978 and bottled in 1998 as part of the Rare Malts Selection. It is an official bottling at a natural cask strength of 60.9%.
It is a limited edition Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. Releases in the Rare Malts series brought Port Ellen wider recognition in the late 1990s, and this was one of them.
