This is a 20 year old Pulteney from the Old Malt Cask range, bottled by Hunter Laing at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in September 2002 and matured in a refill barrel, which gave 235 bottles. The bottling was made to mark the release of Ardnahoe single malt whisky.
The nose brings lemons, sea spray and mint. On the palate there is salted caramel with citrus and foliage, and the finish is long with a lingering pepperiness.
