Pure Scot Virgin Oak is a blended Scotch whisky created at the Bladnoch distillery in the Lowlands, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. A selected blended Scotch base is aged for at least three years, then finished in new American virgin oak casks.
The colour is a bright golden amber. The nose is sweet, with honey, toffee and fresh vanilla, plus coconut and soft oak spice.
The palate opens silky, with caramel, ripe fruit and a touch of milk chocolate, moving towards warm spice. The finish is medium to long, with toasted oak, creamy sweetness and subtle spice.
