R6 Straight Bourbon comes from R6 Distillery in Los Angeles and is described as the city's first bourbon to be made legally. It is made from yellow corn, rye and malted barley.
It has won awards from the American Distilling Institute and taken silver medals at the Los Angeles, Denver and San Francisco spirits competitions.
The nose offers vanilla, caramel, fig and citrus. On the palate come caramel, cinnamon, pepper, nut and corn, and the finish is caramel corn.
