A five year old Raasay single malt, distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2025 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society at 58.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
It comes from a single first fill Chinkapin barrel, which gave 204 bottles.
The nose is treacle, sea breezes, lemon and lightly singed heather, with an earthy richness underneath; water brings yellow fruit, cedar flowers, hardwood shavings and white pepper. On the palate, lemon sharpness and chilli warmth lead to dried cherry, dried mango and pomegranate. With water, golden syrup on raisins, black forest gateau and liquorice root appear.
