Ragtime Rye is a New York straight rye from the New York Distilling Company, made to the requirements of the Bottled in Bond Act. It was produced in a single distillation season and bottled at 100 proof, which is 50% ABV.
The rye is grown in New York State. The whiskey matured for a minimum of four years in a federally bonded warehouse, in full-size barrels only.
On the palate it is full-bodied, with pronounced spice, cracked pepper and a firm oak backbone.
