Rampur Select is an Indian single malt from Rampur Distillery in Uttar Pradesh, and the first single malt released under the Rampur name, launched for export in April 2016.
It is distilled in copper pot stills from Indian barley, matured in hand-selected casks and bottled at 43% without chill filtration.
The nose is fruity with toffee behind it, along with floral notes, honey, dried fruit and a hint of spice. The palate is balanced and malty, with creamy vanilla, apricot and apple and a sweet, winey quality. The finish is rich and long.
